Governance and anti-corruption program

 

This program aims to provide analytical and training services specialized in governance and anti-corruption issues, which include objective and practical analyses and assessments, and proposes constructive and forward-looking recommendations on issues related to the independence and effectiveness of mutual monitoring institutions, and the balance of power, particularly the Parliament, the Supreme Authority for Financial Control and Accounting, and the judiciary; as well as the rest of the vigilance and monitoring agencies.

 

This program seeks to:

  • Produce policy papers and research articles.
  • Capacity-building by organizing training courses on public finance management, financial control, accounting and evaluation of public programs and projects, and anti-corruption policies and mechanisms;
  • Create a follow-up cell for information, data, laws and facts related to governance and anti-corruption, aiming at establishing an archive with reliable and updated documents and information.
