The Moroccan Institute for Policy Analysis (MIPA) is pleased to release the findings of the Green Index 2025, developed under the DIRIA project, supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and in partnership with the Arab Reform Initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Green Index is the first nationwide quantitative study that captures Moroccan citizens\u2019 perceptions and knowledge of climate change, sustainability, and environmental engagement. Based on field data, the Index provides a comprehensive picture of public attitudes, highlighting knowledge gaps, opportunities for action, and pathways to foster stronger civic participation in addressing climate challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

These findings aim to inform policymakers, civil society, and researchers, and to contribute to a more evidence-based debate on Morocco\u2019s environmental and climate policies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Presentation of the \u201cGreen Index\u201d Findings<\/span><\/b><\/h6>\n

The Moroccan Institute for Policy Analysis (MIPA) announces the organization of a press conference to present the findings of the <\/span>\u201cGreen Index\u201d<\/span><\/b>, scheduled for <\/span>Wednesday, September 24, 2025<\/span><\/b>, at <\/span>4:30 PM<\/span><\/b>, at<\/span> Fairmont La Marina Rabat Sale Hotel<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u2018Green Index,\u2019 developed within the framework of the DIRAIA project and supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), is the first nationally based field study designed to measure the awareness and perceptions of Moroccan citizens on issues related to climate change, sustainability, and the environment, as well as the extent of their engagement in environmental initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n
