OUC Project aims to empower the political participation of marginalized citizens, especially youth, women and people with disabilities. It also seeks to engage and support them in playing an active and effective role in society, and raise their awareness and participation in issues of public concern, thus improve participatory democracy in Morocco. This project is based on developping concrete measures that would directly affect the primary beneficiaries and indirectly support an Moroccan citizen who seeks to make a difference in society. The project provides citizens and civil society organizations (the aforementioned categories in particular) with the necessary tools to understand and analyze public policies. Moreover, it provides knowledge and training on political participation and active citizenship, as well as guidance and support to launch effective campaigns for awareness and advocacy.
