On November 21st 2019 at 5 pm, “Café Politico” will launch its first of a series of panels and forums dealing with various public policy issues in Morocco.

The topic of the first Café politico will be centered around women’s quota in parliament, and whether that policy has succeeded to achieve its intended results. The discussion’s background will be MIPA’s paper entitled: “How did traditional political culture thwarted Women’s quota” (link : https://mipa.institute/6100).
The event is jointly organized by the Moroccan Institute for Policy Analysis (MIPA) and Sim-Sim Participation Citoyenne and Swiss International Cooperation.
The participants in this policy debate are: Dr. Latifa Albouhssini, Woman activist and Professor at Mohammed V University, and Fatima Zahra Barassat (PPS), Zouhour El Wahabi (PAM) and Meryema Boujemaa (PJD) and it will be moderated by Youness Meskine: the editor in chief of “Akhbar Al Youm” newspaper.
